There are many factors that will affect the price of a web design project. Our prices start from just £350 for a single page, template based brochure website, going up to £8,000+ for a functional, search engine optimised, 20 page, custom designed website with professional copywriting and custom photography.

Template or Custom Design

A custom website designed from scratch will cost a lot more than a template based website. Most businesses don’t need a custom design and can save money by using a nice template which will be customised to their business anyway.

The templates we use are made by the most popular WordPress themes and are designed to increase enquiries and sales. We are able to mix and match sections from different website templates to create something unique to your business, whilst also being cost effective.

We feel that the cost saving here can be better spent elsewhere eg. Professional copywriting or SEO. However, if you have the budget or if your website requires a lot of functionality, a custom design made from scratch would be beneficial.

Number of Pages

The more web pages you require, the higher the price will be. Most businesses are okay with just the homepage, about, services and contact page. We recommend standalone service pages as it gives you an opportunity to add high quality SEO content to help you rank on Google.

Some businesses may also require additional pages such as terms FAQs, testimonials, gallery, privacy policy, terms and conditions etc.

Having a solid SEO foundation is important. Having your website built with SEO in mind will allow Google and other search engines to rank your website, making it easier for customers in your area to find you.

Custom Photography

This is one of the easiest ways to make you stand out from your competition. We can send a professional photographer to your office at a time and day that suits you. If you’re a contractor we’ll take pictures/videos of you doing a job, your van, tools and equipment.

Website Functionality

A brochure website just to show a business’ information will be cheaper than a website with a booking system, client portal or other similar functionality.

We’ll go through your budget and business needs to recommend whether you’d benefit from a functional website or if a brochure website will suffice. All of our websites are made with a functioning contact form as standard, unless you prefer your website without it. A contact form doesn’t affect the price unless you require custom fields.
